Last updated: June 2025
Trendspot is a video contest platform that allows users to submit and share short-form video content. The safety of all users — especially minors — is a core priority. This page outlines our policies and measures to prevent exploitation, abuse, and harmful content on the platform.
1. Zero Tolerance for Child Exploitation
Trendspot has a strict zero-tolerance policy toward any content or behavior that sexually exploits, endangers, or inappropriately depicts minors. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) of any kind
- Grooming, solicitation, or inappropriate contact with minors
- Content that sexualises, humiliates, or harms minors
- Sharing of personal information of minors without consent
Any account found to be engaged in such activity will be permanently banned and reported to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by law.
2. Age Requirements
Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users between 13 and 17 require parental or guardian consent. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to register or use the Service. If we identify an underage account, we will immediately suspend it and delete any associated data.
3. Content Moderation
All user-generated content (UGC) on Trendspot is subject to our community guidelines and moderation processes. We employ the following measures:
- In-app reporting — Every post and user profile includes a report button accessible to all users.
- Manual review — Reported content is reviewed by our team within 24 hours.
- Account blocking — Users can block any other user to prevent further interaction.
- Content removal — Content violating our policies is removed immediately upon confirmation.
